
Deferred: Overbrook neighborhood apartmentsĪ planned “family apartment community” in Greenville’s historic Overbrook neighborhood has been put on hold until the developer can address concerns from the city and local residents. The approval from the city comes with the condition that the city will have to review materials and design specifics as the project progresses. The goal of the two-site development - which is within blocks of Unity Park - is to “reflect the forward-thinking goals of Unity Park while relating to the context of the Southernside neighborhood through the use of traditional materials and colors,” according to the plans.
